With over 20 years in the construction industry and a background in carpentry from BCIT, Dave brings experience, creativity, and a genuine passion for building to every project. He enjoys collaborating with builders, architects, and clients to bring ideas to life and takes pride in seeing a project through from start to finish.

Known for his calm, hands-on approach, Dave values teamwork and open communication, believing that great homes are built not just with skill, but with trust and collaboration. He finds real satisfaction in the process—watching plans on paper turn into something lasting and well crafted.

When he’s not on site, Dave can usually be found coaching soccer or spending time with his wife, Tracey, and their daughters, Luci and Lenni.

Dan Sambol
Co-Owner

With more than 40 years in the construction industry, Dan brings a wealth of experience, steady leadership, and a hands-on mindset to the team. A Journeyman Carpenter and BCIT grad, he’s spent his career working in a wide range of roles—from framing and forming, to running large multi-family projects as a site superintendent and project manager. His focus on quality, communication, and problem-solving has earned him the respect of crews, clients, and colleagues over the years.

Dan is known for his practical approach, strong work ethic, and the way he supports the people around him. Now semi-retired, he continues to mentor the crew and offer guidance drawn from decades on the tools and the job site. His experience and calm leadership remain a core part of Dasco’s culture.

Outside of work, Dan loves to spend time with family, head out camping, and get in as much fishing as he can.
